Apple Orchard

Nolan this year was obsessed with the first day of fall. He heard somewhere that it was only 8 more days until Fall, and from that point forward he woke up every morning and counted 7 more days.... 6 more days... etc. He was very excited. When "fall" finally arrived it was a wet, rainy morning. He looked outside and declared that the leaves didn't all come off the trees. I think he thought that when fall arrived, all of the leaves would instantaneously fall from the tress. It was cute. We decided to start the fall season off with a trip to the apple orchard. It was a lot of fun!

Soccer Time

The months of September and October means Soccer, Soccer, Soccer. Both Nolan and Ethan are now in soccer so we are busier than ever. Kevin is head coach of Nolan's team (The Thunderbirds) and assistant coach of Ethan's team (The Scorpions). Nolan is enjoying his first year of soccer and has already scored a goal. Ethan on the other hand has decided he doesn't like it much anymore, so this may be his last year of soccer.

First Day of School

I can't believe Ethan is in 1st grade! He finally is going to school full day. It has been an adjustment, but he likes it and was lucky to get his 4 closes friends in his class. His teacher's name is Mrs. Austin.

Nolan started 4 year old preschool at St. Peter Lutheran. His teacher is Mrs. Barodte. He goes to school on MWF for two hours each day.

Summer 2011

It's the first week of fall and I'm just viewing my pictures from summer! It was a busy summer and lots of fun.
