Ethan's 3rd Birthday

Ethan turned 3 on January 16th. It's hard to believe that he is 3 years old! We had his birthday party at the Macomb Recretation Center where the kids were able to play in the pool and the playground. It was a really nice place for a birthday party and we would do it again.

Ethan started school again this month and is going to a class called Praise N Play. It's for 3 year olds who did not meet the cut off date to go to preschool. It's 1 day a week and I get to go with him. It's a nice time for Ethan and I to bond while Nolan is at the babysitter.

Ethan had his 3 year old doctor appointment and is still 95% in height and now 50% in weight. He is 40 1/4" tall and weighs 35 lbs.

Ethan amazes us everyday in the things he is able to do and to recall. As far as learning goes, he is a fast learner and picks things up very quickly. We started him on Alphabet flash cards 2 weeks ago, and he can now say and recognize all of the letters of the alphabet. He can also count to 20 and knows all of his shapes. I would say he is ready for Kindergarten now, but he is still our little baby and needs to go thorough 2 years of preschool first.
