Well another year has went by in Ethan's life. He is now 5 years old. He has learned a lot from 4 to 5 years old. Here are some of his accomplishments over the year.
- Started the year loving Monster Trucks and Monster Jam (now he doesn't seem to be interested in it)
- Began his first team sport playing T-Ball
- Can hit a pitched ball
- Likes Dinosaurs, especially the "spitting" dinosaur at the zoo
- Has improved tremendously at drawing. He drew his first family portrait, and now has quite a good imagination. He can draw all sorts of animals and people and loves to draw Mario figures
- Learned to swim without a life jacket. He still prefers the safety of the life jacket, but can swim both underwater and above water across the pool
- Loves go-carts
- Learned to ride his bike without training wheels over the summer
- Discovered bike trails and the skate park. Loves going on the off-road bike trails
- Went ice-skating for the first time
- Joined his first soccer team with Daddy as the coach. Was a little more timid this year playing soccer, but eventually warmed up to it.
- Loves roller coasters
- Likes to build things with Legos and Trio Blocks
- Can count to 110
- Can write his Name and can write MOM and DAD
- Brave enough to go down the big hill on a sled by himself.
- Loves Mario Brothers on Wii (a little obsessed with Mario everything)
- Able to sound out all of his letters and put a few letters together and make their sounds (A says Ah, B says Baa, etc.)
