Ethan Robert Roessler

From 2010-12-02 Florida Trip

Another year has passed and Ethan is now 6 years old. He has accomplished a lot from 5 to 6 years old. Here are some of his accomplishments and interests over the year.


* In March of 2010 Ethan learned to read. He was bribed (by Grammy) that if he learned to read he would get a DS as his reward. He was ready and learned very quickly to all of our amazement.
* Ethan started Kindergarten!
* By December 2010, Ethan is at a 1st or 2nd grade reading level. His teacher says he is one of the only kids in the class reading and has already been tested out of all of the Kindergarten Sight words and is now working on the 1st grade sight words.
* Loves to draw and write stories. He can sit for an hour at his desk and come out with an entire book that he wrote and illustrated all by himself.
* Pokemon cards and Star Wars legos are his favorite toys. He built his own Star Wars lego ship (designated for 8-12 years old)
* Favorite foods: Fettucine Alfredo and Tacos
* Learned to swim without any lifejackets. He can swim underwater and tred water.
* He is growing like a weed and is about 48", which means he can now go on most rollercoasters (which he loves!)
* Plays both Soccer and T-Ball on a team
* Great at addition and subtraction and is beginning to understand multiplication
