Well summer will officially be over soon and I don't know where the time went. Kevin's family came into town on August 1st and we have been busy almost every day with them. Below are some snapshots of our adventures while they were in town. We managed to make it to the splash park, the zoo, the cider mill, Day out with Thomas, The Peach Festival, Camping for 1 day, our very own Olympics, and a trip to Wisconsin for Amy's wedding.
Chrystal also was able to go away for a girls weekend to Traverse City and Kevin went on a guys golf outing. It was nice to get away from the kids for a weekend.
Chrystal's mom Linda was hospitalized in August and ended up having surgery to relieve pressure to her spinal cord and head. She is feeling much better, but will be out of work until late October. She is in good spirits and seems to be feeling better every day.
Overall, it was a great summer that kept us really busy. It was nice spending the summer with family and watching our niece and nephew (Lizzy and Alex) get so big.
